River Girl

All I have heard about all day is the KS2 Assembly and how wonderful it is, and I am just the janitor. I have great relationships with all of the teachers, but sometimes I could do without the school talk. It gets overwhelming at times when all the teachers talk about the same thing. Last week all I could hear was talk about a new staff member and how horrible of a person they were. You would never realise how much drama is in this school when just looking in. The teachers are all excellent with the students, but when the students backs are turned, serious conversations start leaking out. I find humour in some of it, mostly the way they all bicker like teenage girls. Sometimes I don’t think they hear how ridiculous they sound, and if they did they would drop the whole conversation at once. But they don’t, and that is my main issue.
